After stumbling into many controversies, the Hrithik Roshan starrer “Super 30” has finally come into existence. The Super 30 trailer landed on the Reliance Entertainment YouTube channel on Tuesday. The film was firstly postponed due to the sexual harassment complaints against director Vikas Bahl and later further carried out due to the Roshan and Ranaut brawl.
With the trailer now released, the life of Anand Kumar – A mathematics teacher who envisioned to teach underprivileged kids to fight the Indian Institute of Technology’s Joint Entrance Exams which were mostly fought by rich kids who could afford tuition fees in the grander scale of things.

The Super 30 trailer shows a tanned makeup on Roshan and a Bihari accent that looks completely out of place. Other than that, the film focuses on Anand’s sense of humor to tackle the problems faced by his students with a scientific approach. It also features a complete trajectory in Anand’s life when his close associate Aditya Shrivastava starts taking his advantage for monitory gains and later when the consequences when he plans to defy his rules.
The official Super 30 synopsis reads:
“Super30 is based on the remarkable true-life story of India’s genius mathematician Anand Kumar who was born into a very poor family in the Indian state of Bihar. Anand inducts 30 highly underprivileged but academically bright students into his ‘Super 30’ program every year and coaches them free of cost inefficiently designed course students to help them crack India’s toughest entrance examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
The film captures the trials and tribulations of Anand’s life and the challenges he faced in order to set up his ‘Super 30’ institute. It is an inspirational story of his struggle and achievement, and how one man makes a difference in the lives of underprivileged students.”

The big outrage that the Super 30 trailer has brought to light mostly deals with the off brown-faced makeup on its stars face and the name Vikas Bahl still being associated with it in spite of a wider scaled controversy being associated with it. The film which was previously going to release on the 26th of January earlier this year will now release on July 12. The cast also includes Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Singh, and Amit Sadh in major roles.
