‘I Know This Much Is True’ the new upcoming HBO miniseries has a new teaser. Derek Cianfrance is helming this project as a writer and director. He has earlier worked on several dramatically intense narratives and this one feels to be in the same lane. His works include ‘Blue Valentine’ and ‘The Place Beyond The Pines’, which have garnered critical acclaim. His previous film – ‘The Light Between The Oceans’ was nominated for Golden Lion, despite receiving mixed reactions. Now with this series, Derek gives the fans of his work a reason to get excited about.




The HBO mini-series stars Mark Ruffalo in a double-role. He returns after his eccentric turn from Avengers Endgame from last year. ‘Dark Waters’ starring him also received serious acclaim. Here he plays the role of identical twin brothers (Dominick and Thomas) and follows them through different stages of their lives in the fictional town of Three Rivers, Conn.

‘I Know This Much Is True’ is based on the Wally Lamb’s bestseller by the same name. Besides Mark Ruffalo, the series also stars Kathryn Hahn (Mrs. Fletcher), Mellisa Leo (The Fighter), Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Imogen Potts (The Art of Self-Defense), Rosie O’Donnell. This star-studded thriller is making waves for all the right reasons. The 6-episode miniseries promises a chilling journey through its newly-released teaser.
